Today I teed off with Laura Crawford and Mari Chun. We had a fun group. It was a pretty ho-hum day. I hit 16 greens in regulation and missed a lot of birdie attempts. On the front, I capitalized on my par-5 birdies, which I am happy about. On the back nine, I had an unnecessary bogey, but followed it up with a birdie. I missed some short putts for birdie on the last two holes, but overall, it was a solid day -- boring, if you will. I could have gone a lot lower, but it was a good start.
The greens are rolling about a 5 so they are SLOW. I feel bad for the girls playing in the US Open next week where they will be 13-14. It will be quite the contrast.
Tomorrow I am with Laura again and Kristie Smith at 2pm.
